Senior Designer
Designed books and promotional/marketing collateral for New York City’s fine art galleries, including postcards, invitations, and advertisements. Maintained websites.

Projects: Designed printed gallery promotions, invitations, books, calendars, and ads. Updated and maintain company and client websites.

Advance Publications, New York, NY [1996 – 2002]

Art Director, Parade Magazine (2000–2002)
Oversaw in-house graphic design team and freelancers, magazine design production, photo editing, and print quality. Designed covers, feature stories, and layouts for multiple regions as well as house ads and special issues, including creating templates and standards. Art-directed food and entertainment photo shoots.

Assistant Art Director, REACT Magazine (1999–2000)
Supported all activities of the art director, including overseeing 2 designers, directing photo shoots, and creating designs for features, covers, and stories for a teen-focused magazine. Delegated illustrations and freelance assignments.

Senior Design Associate Supervisor, Parade Magazine (1996–1999)
Promoted from Senior Design Associate to a newly-created position to oversee 2 designers, despite shorter tenure. Supervised development of appealing designs for covers, features, stories and special issues. Approved layouts prior to submission to art director.
